Great Ways to Honour Your Wife.

  • Trust her gut

Listen to, respect, and when needed act upon her intuition when she deeply feels something for you. For that, you will need to set aside time to be together alone regularly. Ask her opinion about issues in your life. Consider your motives as she shares her intuition with you, and take needed action.

  • Work on your values and character

Whether it means being a man of God or taking note of keeping your character well-oriented in the world, be sure you do. This way she will be able to rely on you and you will be able to be a good leader and protector for your family.

  • Encourage her gifts

Recognise her uniqueness and talents and encourage her to grow and launch them into the world.

  • Respect her opinion

Spend time with her, learn to empathise, ask her opinion and list the ways she wants you to honour her. Want the best for each other.

  • Ask often: how is your heart?

Sincerely care about how is she feeling. Encourage her to tell you about what’s happening in her heart. Practice being a better listener and take action to make her feel like you care.

  • Share what is in your heart

Recognise that she might want to know what you’re feeling and that she’s concerned about you. Do your best to connect to your feelings and share them with her. The goal of marriage is oneness, and sharing your heart can strengthen your union.

  • Be a guardian to her and your children

Recognise dangers and protect your family from intruding and damaging influences. Nurture your family and guide them into spiritual and personal growth.

  • Use your words wisely

Words can give life or death. Use your words wisely to encourage, and give hope and life. Some ideas: “I’m honoured to be your husband”, “Thank you for all you do for me”, “I never want to take you for granted”, “I’m never leaving you”, “I’m a better man because of you”, “I’m sorry”.
